Allergens & food safety

Please check this information before ordering and contact us if you are unsure. Last updated October 2026.

The 14 regulated allergens

The allergens that must be declared in the UK are celery, cereals containing gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs, mustard, peanuts, sesame, soybeans, sulphur dioxide and sulphites, and tree nuts.

Check before you order

Check the allergen information shown with each dish. If it is unavailable, unclear, or your allergy is severe, contact us and wait for confirmation before ordering. Please tell us about allergies and dietary requirements each time you order; an order note alone should not be relied on as the only safeguard.

Shared-kitchen notice

Our kitchen handles multiple ingredients and allergens. We use controls intended to reduce cross-contamination, but we cannot guarantee that any dish is completely free from traces of an allergen.

Ingredients and substitutions

Recipes and supplier ingredients can change. We keep our information under review and will not make an ingredient substitution for an allergy-sensitive order without checking it with you first.

Our food-safety standards

We follow a documented food-safety management system covering staff training, cleaning, safe preparation, cooking and chilling controls, separation of raw and ready-to-eat food, allergen controls and traceability. Where prepacked-for-direct-sale food is offered, it is labelled as required.

Safe delivery

Orders are packed in suitable food-grade packaging and transported by our in-house team using controls designed to keep hot food hot, cold food cold and packages protected from contamination. Allergy-sensitive orders are identified and handled with additional care.

Report a concern

If you believe a dish is unsafe or contains an undeclared allergen, stop eating it, seek medical help where necessary and contact us immediately at hello@demo-storefront.example.
